How to Measure a Box and Pad

Measuring Boxes |
Measuring a box is as easy as 1-2-3 L x W x H. Standard corrugated box dimensions are always read in this sequence.
When measuring the size, dimensions should always correspond to the inner dimensions of the box. The length is always the longest side along the opening. The width will be the shorter side of the opening, and height is the distance between the top and bottom of the box. When measuring a corrugated pad, the width can be determined by measuring in the direction of corrugation, and the opposite will be the length.
Flutes are the wavy, arched material found between corrugated liners. Several flute types are available to best fit a customers specifications. |

Box partitions are designed for customers who ship various fragile items such as glasses, medical equipment, candles, or any other item that could Potentially become damaged if shifted during shipping. |
